Original Rider-Waite Tarot

This deck and book set comes with the Rider-Waite Tarot deck by Pamela Colman Smith with original Tudor Rose back design, Celtic Cross divinatory chart, and The Key to the Tarot book by Arthur Edward Waite.

Although The Key to the Tarot isn't the best choice for beginners - it was written in 1910, a time when books on occult subjects were written in what might be considered a dense and sometimes deliberately obscure style - we still consider this pack to be a good deal.  It's less expensive than most deck-and-book sets, nicely presented, and the deck itself is worth the price; thus, consider the book a bonus.  And, let's face it - if you're serious about the tarot, you'll end up reading Waite's book at some point, anyway.
