The
Herbal Tarot is a full-color 78-card deck comprising 22 Major Arcana and 56
Minor Arcana. The Herbal Tarot, by Michael Tierra and Candis Cantin, was
designed to integrate the healing properties of traditional herbs with the
symbolism of tarot. Each card features a different herb, identified by
name, and related by its characteristics to a specific tarot card.
The deck is also available with an accompanying book, The Spirit of Herbs: A Guide to the Herbal Tarot, which explains the spiritual properties of each herb featured in the deck, how one can go about tapping the medicinal properties of herbs, the tarot symbolism of herbs, how one can use the Herbal Tarot for readings on spiritual and health issues, and meditation techniques using tarot cards and herbs. Card layouts are explained and illustrated. The glossary clarifies herbal and medical terms.
