Halloween Tarot

The Halloween Tarot was created by Kipling West, and is a "fun" tarot. This is a perfect deck to use around Halloween, obviously, but is also an excellent choice when you don't want a reading to get too heavy. If Halloween itself is a combination of fun and mystery, then so is this tarot deck. There are monsters, trick-or-treaters, and a black cat that seems to find himself walking through each scene in the deck.

The Minor Arcana Suits are:

Pumpkins (in place of Pentacles)
Bats (in place of Swords)
Ghosts (in place of Cups)
Imps (in place of Wands)

The Halloween Tarot is also available as a deck-and-book boxed set, the book being Karin Lee's The Halloween Tarot (148 pp., illustrated, softcover). Lee delves into the history, symbols and traditions of All Hallow's Eve, from the story of the jack-o'-lantern to the origins of trick-or-treating to finding your true love's name in apple peelings.
